Ilya Zaslavsky

From keeping kids safer from exposure to COVID at school, to working on methods to predict mass shootings, the director of SDSC’s Spatial Information Systems Laboratory focuses his research on distributed information management systems—particularly spatial and temporal data integration, geographic information systems and spatial data analysis. He also teaches courses at HDSI and GPS on campus.
