Travel & Housing
Attendees are responsible for their own travel arrangements and expense to attend the Summer Institute. However, a select number of on campus room and board scholarships will be extended.
Travel to SDSC
The San Diego International Airport (SAN) is the closest airport to UC San Diego and SDSC. The Getting Here map offers directions, campus map and exact locations for housing check-in, SDSC, and to help you navigate around campus.

On-Campus Housing
UC San Diego Conference Services offers on-campus apartment housing. Housing is made available to attendees of the Summer Institute. Campus apartments can have up to 4 private rooms, with shared bathroom, kitchen and living space. Roommates will be assigned according to gender and by request. Those attending with room and board scholarships will be assigned a room and will also receive 3 meals daily at the local commons. On-campus single shared apartment or a private apartment are also available to those attending without room and board funding. Additional days may be accommodated.

Parking permits are always required on the UC San Diego campus. Be sure to check with Guest Housing or use parking kiosks.
