Conference Facilities

Due to campuswide restrictions for covid-19, SDSC conference room rental facilities are unavailable until further notice.

SDSC's conference facilities include conference rooms, a synthesis center, a computer training lab, and a 200-seat auditorium which can be configured into smaller spaces for gatherings, both large and small.

Conference facilities are available for rental to both the UCSD and non-UCSD communities.

Outdoor Patio: 12 (60" round) tables and 32 folding chairs. No table linens provided. There is no additional rental fee to use the patio.

Classroom

Seating for 25 with 19 student computers and 1 instructor station. One projector connected to instructor computer, with additional HDMI input available.

Windows 10 desktop systems with the following software installed:

  • Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects)
  • Web Browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome)

Additional software may be installed by SDSC tech support at the hourly AV/IT support rate.

AV/IT support

SDSC will assist you for a 15 minute sound and AV projector check at no cost during regular business hours. (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM) Additional time will be charged at the hourly rate.

* Room charges will apply for custom setup and reset times. Any custom setup takes at least 3-4 hours. The room must be reset (additional 3-4 hours) to standard setup after an event. SDSC does not provide labor for room setup and reset. Event setup services are offered by both UCSD Facilties Management and UCSD Moving Services.
