Computational Data Science Research Specialist

IT Architect 4 (Hybrid)
As a senior member of the HPC System Group in the Data Enabled Scientific Computing (DESC) Division, the Network and System Architect will provide technical expertise, leadership, and hands-on support in areas of research networking, systems architecture, and production operations for SDSC’s high-performance computing (HPC), storage, and networking systems. Scientific Software Developer
The Scientific Software Developer will work within the RCSB Protein Data Bank organization at SDSC to support RCSB.org, the preeminent resource worldwide for macromolecular structure data, yearly used by millions of researchers and educators around the world. RCSB.org is supported by a complex cloud-native microservice architecture that allows efficient search and data retrieval via web UIs and programmatic APIs.
