Expanse Webinar: Accessing and Running Jobs on Expanse

This webinar covers the basics of accessing SDSC's Expanse supercomputer, including: managing the user environment using Lmod, a Lua-based module system; compiling and running CPU and GPU jobs using Slurm; how to run batch jobs and where to run jobs on the Expanse file system. We will also provide a brief overview of interactive computing, and using applications such as Jupyter Notebooks and how to run them via the command line or from the Expanse portal. It is assumed that you have mastered the basic skills of logging onto HPC systems using SSH and running basic Unix commands on these systems.
